Nancy Jones passed away peacefully on December 29th with her loving husband Paul at her side. A memorial service will be held on January 22nd at 2:00pm at First Presbyterian Church Palo Alto in the sanctuary.

Paul, along with Paul and Nancy's children, are putting together stories and photographs which will be shared through an obituary and at her memorial service and we will include some of that material on this page soon. From Sarah Johnson: Nancy was such a hard, enthusiastic worker around First Pres. She led us wisely as elder and deacon but was equally willing to roll up her sleeves and work hard in the kitchen. All with good humor and grace.

From Gail Thompson: My memory of Nancy is of her and Paul together being supportive and caring with Dot Russo. My sympathy to Paul and his family. I also remember the time Ed and I ran into them at MacArthur Park when they were celebrating a wedding anniversary. They looked like newly weds.

From Margery Brandt: Nancy and I served on many committees together over the years! One of the things I remember most about Nancy was the way she always greeted me so warmly. And I also admired the way she and Paul were always so supporting of each other.

From Jeff Vamos: I always remember Nancy's quiet way and the kind but slightly wry smile that Nancy often wore, along with that little twinkle in her eye. Nancy was so devoted to Paul as a compatriot and companion, and I so enjoyed her presence at many events I attended with her over the years at First Pres. "May light eternal shine upon her."

From Ruth Eft: I have wonderful memories of Nancy as an example of a true Christian woman as I was privileged to be with her and Paul in their home for Bible study. It was an honor to be able to help her and others to prepare and serve meals to seniors at the church some Saturdays.
