After Worship
Fellowship Hall
It’s that time of the year again! Sukkot, also known as the Festival of Ingathering, commemorates the gathering of crops and the Israelites’ journey through the desert. It celebrates the ways we are held by a wider circle of love and care. The pandemic impacted the way and frequency in which we gathered over the last couple of years. Your Community Building Ministry has worked very hard this year to provide opportunities for our church family to reconnect as one. Progress has been slow, but each event has been designed to draw you out of the wilderness of the world and into fellowship with one another. As we celebrate Ingathering this year, let us draw strength from this time of renewal and take this time to reaffirm our connectedness to one another and to our wider community.
This call to action asks you to:
Be gathered into the Church for service and a time for feasting and fellowship afterward.
Bring finger food to add to the communal feast (no signup this time, just surprise us).
Bring an offering for our food basket, which will go to those in need.
