Peaceful Presence

As is our annual tradition, American Muslim Voice hosts the September multifaith gathering of our MVPJ Peaceful Presence. This year it will be held at King Plaza in Palo Alto.
All public health recommendations for COVID safety at the time of the event will be followed, including dinner service. Watch this site for details.

6-6:40 – Dinner and Sowing the Seeds of Friendship
6:45-8:15 – Multifaith Prayers for Peace and Program

Click here to RSVP on the Eventbrite for the gathering! This helps in planning, and will also let us contact you with public health updates. This event is free and open to all.

Multifaith Voices for Peace and Justice hosts “Peaceful Presence,” a monthly prayer service on the evening of the 11th of each month, hosted at various local congregations. These services offer a time of quiet multifaith prayers for peace and strength for the journey and include elements from several religious traditions. All are welcome.

In light of the pain and brokenness of the past, we will begin our new year with a Peaceful Presence featuring faith leaders from our local community calling us to come together and move ourselves and our nation toward healing and justice.
