Little Eagle Community in South Dakota
Little Eagle is a very rural indigenous community on the Standing Rock Reservation. Its Lakota, Dakota and Nakota residents are among the poorest in the nation. We have already packed diaper bags, toddler backpacks and about 300 stockings for kids from ages 4-18.
It’s still not too late to help! Cash is still needed to purchase a few more fifty-dollar ($50) cards for families and to ship some of the items to South Dakota. Here’s how to donate:
Tax deductible donation via credit card: https://www.mightycause.com/story/Littleeaglefriends
