You are invited to join members and friends of the First Presbyterian Church of Palo Alto and others from across the country in weekly online Lenten Gatherings. These gatherings, led by  Rev. Kelly Wiant from Harrisburg, PA, will draw from the Sanctified Art theme “Full to the Brim” that FPCPA will engage this Lent. Together, we will consider what it means to step away from the rat race, corrupt power structures, and scarcity mentality in order to live a life that is expansive and full of grace.  Rather than approach Lent as a time of mourning and penitence, we will explore what it means to be worthy, beloved, and full to the brim with a love that overflows.

These gatherings will include guided meditations, lectio divina, visio divina, and more traditional Bible study all with an eye to how our lives are made richer and more meaningful as we engage the divine and watch for the signs of new life promised in the resurrection.

We will gather at 4:00 PM (PST) and 7:00 PM (EST) for an hour and fifteen minutes on Sundays beginning February 27.  The first meeting will serve as an overview of the Lenten series, an introduction to Ash Wednesday, and a time for introductions.  Each participant will receive a devotion booklet produced by A Sanctified Art which further explores the theme of “Full to the Brim.”
