Dear Members and Friends of First Presbyterian Church of Palo Alto,
We’re grateful for your flexibility as 2021 presented more unknowns and challenges, including our continued Zoom worship and having our vaccinated pastor, Bruce Reyes-Chow, and his wife, Robin, get breakthrough Covid, sending him to the hospital. We’re so glad he’s on the mend now and has returned to lead worship.
First Presbyterian Church has continued to be the church that we know ourselves to be and more:
- Engaging in thoughtful conversations through our Adult Education, Book Studies, and Webinars.
- Caring for one another through our Care and Compassion Team and Pastoral Care.
- Fighting for justice through supporting partners and participating in ongoing actions for justice.
We grew closer to God through our meaningful Zoom Worship, Bible Study, and Early Church and we have been able to move forward in our programs and have an impact because we have trust the abundance of community.
Our stewardship theme this year is Celebrating new and old ways of making community, as our population has grown during online worship
Note: If you haven’t been to online worship and need any help with the technology, let us know, and we’ll arrange a tech buddy to help you.
